They are simply the best when it comes to lyrics(and for me, to music too). And God, this song... this song just means a lot to me, especially the lyrics but the music is really beautiful too. 
I'm happy you liked it. Listening to this always bring my feet back to the ground.

I adore Vibeke's voice on the first two Tristania albums but on Illumination I don't really like it.  It is breathy in addition to being high-pitched and doesn't sound nice at all, but rather unpleasant and even annoying. Destination Departure is the worst, I can barely listen to that song.  I'm not sure why exactly that is, Liv's voice is high-pitched and breathy too but much more pleasing for my ears.

Well, I love their albuns but I prefer the last 3 ones. Ashes is a masterpiece, imo it's their best album. But I agree with you on Vibeke's voice, however where I think her voice sounds the best is on World of Glass album. Later it got just too breathy.
Once she was attacked on stage here in Brazil and a person who was attending that concert told me that when she left the stage crying, her voice(?) kept singing. It seems she was using playback that night, dunno if she used to do it often, so I'm not gonna accuse or doubt her abilities.

Beautiful song, it starts acousticly in a country/folk tone and in the end there are some orchestral parts more towards the end of the song. The voice of the singer is quite soothing. I loved it. I'd suggest it as a cover for Tarja, but I think this one fits more Liv kristine's voice and style.
I'll listen to this band more often.

Just heard it. Well, the song is very beautiful indeed, as I was expecting from Scorpions. Just I thought Tarja would be a little more than just backing vocals... anyway, I like the song. Scorpions forever!

I'm not really impressed with the scorpion song. sounds like a demo version to me...
I've never been a very big fan of them anyway.
